Day is Done

Wednesday, March 14, 07

I at least began with yoga this morning.  The day took off and ran right after that and seemed to end peacefully with this quiet sunset--muted colors, empty beach, calm water.  I would have  been happy to settle in with my avocado, baked potato and glass of wine for dinner, but I heard that a CB Fire Dept's "Burn to Learn" project across from the Surfcrest  began this evening, so I darted down there with neighbor Carol to shoot more photos. (Word is that they'll finish the building next week, so stay tuned for the set.)

And now it's after 11 pm, and I have a true non-stop day tomorrow beginning with a photo shoot at 8:15am. So I'll just gaze a little longer at the sunset (photo) and count my blessings that I do have full days of work that I care about, and I'll breathe...

Beautiful! Wish I could have seen it in person but, your picture is the next best thing.

There's not a day where I wish not, that I could spend a few moments in time, where serenity and robust energy and life come together and create the majestic beauty of sight and sound at Cannon Beach. Thank you for sharing the wonder of the creation and the details of the marine life awakening and the walk through the tulips. I will share this with my lovely family this evening and will look for another moment in time tomorrow to be whisked away to fond memories of our honeymoon in paradise this past September in Cannon Beach.
