Tulips 2

I wasn't planning on posting tulips today, but these have been calling me for awhile.  Walking by the Inn at Cannon Beach this sunny morning, I gave in.  (The five close-ups were taken at the Inn.)

The colors are beautiful, but black and white emphasizes the delicacy and texture.  The contrast simplifies the image and makes you slow down and really see the astounding beauty of nature.
